The Ladies of Virtue and Edification (LOVE) Ministries was founded in October 2016 by Pastor Susan Flores and is located in Fontana, California. Since its inception, the ministry has preached the gospel of Jesus Christ through weekly and bi-weekly Bible studies, posting daily words of encouragement via social media, through conferences and daily interaction with those who believe in Jesus and those who do not.
The Ladies of Virtue and Edification Ministries is partnered with other ministries who are also dedicated to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and by also providing financial resources to help those in need. Specifically, the ministry currently sponsors seven children through WorldVision International, helping to feed, educate, and provide health care and clean water to children all over the world. We are partnered with and provide support to Divine Connections H.O.P.E. Ministries, who provide resources and counseling to those who have been involved in domestic violence and traumatic instances in their lives. We are covenant partners with Joyce Meyer Ministries, Joel Osteen Ministries and the Tim Tebow Foundation. These Christian ministries provide outreach and resources to those in need worldwide and preach the uncompromised word of God to the nations, provide food, clean water, and resources to eradicate sex trafficking. We are also partnered with the Gary Sinise Foundation that provides resources to veterans and with the California Department of Corrections (CDCR) and the Special Olympics which provides resources for our Special Olympics competitors. Additionally, we are partnered with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank helping to feed the underprivileged in Los Angeles County and with Samaritan’s Purse US Disaster Relief who provide physical resources as well as a spiritual support to those who have survived disastrous situations here in the United States and abroad.
MISSION:
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH: WE BELIEVE:
The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God and is the rule for life and conduct of the believer.
There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ and the deity of the Holy Spirit.
The resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, died, buried, resurrected and is seated on the right hand of the Father forever interceding on our behalf.
The vicarious atonement of Jesus Christ. Man was created good and upright, but man, by voluntary transgression fell and the only hope for redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God who was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life.
It is the grace of God that brings Salvation. Man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, and by being justified by grace through faith. The evidence of this “New Birth” is a witness of the Holy Spirit inwardly, and a changed life both inwardly and subsequently outwardly.
In water baptism which is the outward expression of the inward work of Christ, which acknowledges the work of the cross in our lives.
In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit leads, and by the subsequent manifestations of spiritual power in public testimony and service.
Gifts have been given to the church by the Holy Spirit in order for the church to be equipped and be used to encourage and build up one another. These gifts are for today and are active in a healthy church.
That entire sanctification and holiness is the will of God and should be pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word.
Deliverance from all sickness and disease is provided for all in the atonement and is a privilege of all believers.
In the return of Jesus Christ, to consummate His Kingdom, in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of judgment.
